We (Dan and me) started out early a.m. and headed out of Sandpoint towards Bonners Ferry ID (we were about 39 miles from the Canadian border just after going through Bonners Ferry) and then on into Moyie Springs (population 536). I’m just South of Salt Lake City, getting ready to shut down the Motostat and sleep for a few hours before heading on into Vegas. I’ll be back in sin city soon. Check back for photos and updates.

Dan and I headed out of Vegas on Thursday afternoon, around 2 p.m., much later than I originally thought I’d get out of there. The sun was out - a real change from the entire last week where it had been overcast and raining - and it was very hot taking down the coach set up and hitching up. Just after we showered at the bath house in the RV park and pulled out onto Boulder Highway, it started to rain. (more…)

The a.m. will find me hitching and hauling out of Vegas.  It’s time for the annual trip North through Missoula MT and on into Sandpoint Idaho.  Look for more posts, lots of great pictures, and perhaps a few tall tales…told mainly by us that grew up together, years ago, in a land far away.  Some of us are gone, some of us are still here to tell the tales, and there’s so many new nephews and nieces and grandkids to mess with over the poker game.  Yippee!  More later.
