Table Tango

The inevitable finish to our time on earth often leaves me with a feeling of peace and shock at the same time. There are no words to cover the whole of death, as it comes to each of us in its own way, sometimes with advance notices, sometimes like a thief under cover of dark, it takes our companions and friends, enemies and acquaintances, and loved ones, leaving a void that no one else can fill. I wonder at its simplicity, yet struggle with the complexity that is left behind. It’s part of the natural order of life. As I find myself in the middle of groping for the peace after the shock, I think the world has lost a great representative on the green felt and in life.
