Table Tango

The good news is that tomorrow is another day. The bad news is that’s what I tell myself every night when I’ve been trying to make some headway in things that seem to pile up and sit in the corners of my conscience. Tomorrow I go back to my Dr. for an update on blood work for cholesterol, blah, blah. I wonder if the attack of the Nutty Bars I had two days ago will show up. Yes, I was attacked by Nutty Bars while innocently walking down the aisle doing some grocery shopping. I even walked right past them, went clear to the other side of the store, and the attack was unbearable, back I went and bought a box. My sis asks how I can eat so many at one time, wondering if they make me feel sick. I said of course they do…that’s why I wait a few hours and eat some more of them. I’m dysfunctional, what can I tell you. I rarely have anything that resembles sweets or chips or bad food at my place and there’s a reason for it.

Someone that I met thru Tango is in Vegas, Sandi from the UK, and I met her at Bellagio some time ago during one of her visits to the states She called me tonight and we had an opportunity to visit a bit and made plans for dinner next week. Nice!

Summer has arrived. It’s hotter than hell out now, night and day.

I can’t win a hand so how could I possibly win a seat into the WSOP Main Event. Yes, I’m crying. I have an update coming to Chasing Chris tomorrow sometime - after the Dr.’s appointment. I have to give up blood at the Dr.’s office and I bleed at the table…ugh! Maxie has a great post up there, go have a laugh.

The teeth minus the brackets thing, they are torture. The whole day was spent feeling pressure - perhaps it’s an allergy thing and my sinuses are playing havoc with that area. I don’t have the runny nose, itchy eye thing going on but it seems as if they had just started to feel better yesterday and I could bite without hitting the back of them with my lower teeth, today is a completely different story. Very frustrating. Too bad dentists take weekends off.

A trip to the Rio is in my very near future…possibly tomorrow. A trip to my bed is going to happen in the next five minutes. g’nite world.
