Another shortie before I head across the valley to our WPBT Winter Classic Tournament - hosted at Caesar’s Palace.  I’m inhaling my coffee, trying to get my eyes to work - this day life is killing me.  I do not know how you people fade the traffic and the sun in your eyes every day, give me the beautiful Moon Goddess, bathing me with soft, silvery light as my guiding star, and let me sleep through humanities insane rush to hurry up and go nowhere. It’s all their fault!  Damn Bloggers!  Love them with all my heart and little, weird, brain twists as I keep racing back across the city to hang out with them.  NFR is in town, cowboy hats, major belt buckle city, and cowboy boots are everywhere and traffic’s backed up until hell won’t have it but I keep fighting my through it just to hang out with the bloggers for a few days. Ha!  I made it back to the shindig post.  I managed to escape on a couple of hands during the tournament.  One where I held 10-10 on the Button.  Chilly raised it - Rachel raised it, I thought about it for a moment, then folded, for all the wrong reasons because I thought she had a big pair, but as it turned out, I made the right decision to not go busted or become injured in chip count with this hand.  Chile had 8-8, Rachel turned over A-Q off and hit a Queen on the Turn.  Whew! I did pick up K-K once and won a big pot.  (more…)

I’m cranking on the next phase of the Blogger shindig - and I’m tired - and I’m learning another phase of a Word Press upgrade. It’s a little bit mind shredding at times but the programmers I work with are the greatest. They’ve helped me on every step that I almost faltered on…sweet!
